did you know it’s friday?

Standard

You go, and go, and go out here until you don’t even know what day it is. I was supposed to go the film critics awards show tonight, big time Hollywood parties and the whole bit, but my interviews ran late and I couldn’t get there in time. I ended up hanging here and go to the Sci-Fi party. It was fun.

Rosemary will be jealous because I saw Six or seven or nine, whatever her name is from BSG. She was really pretty, which is a good thing because she’s in Playboy this month. I also met one of my heroes, Jaclyn Smith. She’s still so beautiful, classy and kind. She’s doing one of bravo’s new shows something to do with hair. I can’t remember the name.

The gang from painkiller jane was here. Kristanna Loken is the friendliest chick in the room, but the show looks promising. Let’s see Queen Latifah and Jamie Foxx were here. Oh, and Jim Broadbent. I love him. I’m sure I’m forgetting someone terribly famous, but my brain is really tired. There’s another party at 10 that I totally forgot about for IFC. I feel like a jerk because I told them I’d be there but I’m already in my PJ’s with no makeup.

Two nights in a row dinner has been appetizers. Not really a good idea. The problem is, you sort of forget how many you’ve eaten until you get that pukey feeling. ;-)

Today’s question is very silly. What appetizer do you like best? Mine is a three way tie between stuffed mushrooms, boiled shrimp and spinach artichoke dip. So what do you guys like before the big meal?

Oh, and I forgot. Robert Wagner sang to me in an elevator. Candy… something, something Candy… His manager was there and Tom from AMC. It was so cool. I might feel special for a couple of days after that one. he’s still handsome. :-)

Oh, and tomorrow night we have a private concert with Sting. Isn’t that cool? Did I already tell you that? It’s been so crazy I can’t remember.

Night

  1. appetizers

Hard to say what my favorite appetizer is. Since there are many things I can’t eat. But I do like those stuffed mushroom thingies.

Sounds like you are haing a lot of exhausting fun. I really must read your newspaper column. Wonder if I could find it online??

  2. It’s Six. She’s the hot one. Though Lucy Lawless has been guest starring as Three, and she’s not bad on the eyes. I also think Grace Park, who plays Eight, is beautiful…

You know I’m doing this just to mess with you, right?

Robert Wanger sang to you! So cool!

  3. Robert Wagner sang to you? *swoon* I love him. Now I think I’m jealous. *g*

Favorite appetizer? Hmm. Probably those fried mozzarella sticks. Love those. I could make a meal out of them (and have!).
