So my relationship with my thyroid is over. I left it for good at a hospital in Denton, Texas yesterday. We’d had been at odds for more years than I can remember. The last three years it had made my life a living hell. I found out last week that it was growing nasty unnatural alien things on it. So my surgeon Dr. Carolyn Gardner, sent my thyroid packing for me. And left me with minimal outside trauma. Inside hurts like a son of a gun. :) Don’t worry about the thyroid cancer, if you have to get cancer, it’s the best kind to get. They cut it out. Give you one chemo kind of pill and you’re done.
Only reason I’m telling you all this is that my kid tells me I had 1100 emails just on one account yesterday and another 400, on my google stuff. So if I’m not answering it isn’t that I don’t love you. It’s that me and my Lortab need to take a nap together.
Sue Irby had the same thing. Hope your better soon, if I’d known when I was at UNT the other day, I’d have stopped by.
