Oh, just stuff

Standard

If you follow me on Twitter or Facebook, you've seen my new fasion edict. No more black. Everything I own is either black or black and white. I'm a girl who loves color so it's time to make a change. There's just one problem, I don't seem to like clothes with color. I mean, so far I've done a lot of shopping online and in stores, and I've found zilch (Oh, that's a good word for hangin' w/friends). But I will not give up.

I'm also on the hunt for comfortable platforms. I'm five one, and I would like to at least reach the heights of five two, or even three. I dream about being able to reach stuff on the second shelf of my kitchen cabinets. If you have ideas for a girl with a, um, curvy figure for brightly colored clothes, please share. And if you've tried some comfy platforms, you must share.

Tonight is the premiere of the CW show Ringer. It's a show I desperately wanted to like, but was kind of eh about. But it has some fun twisty turnies and Sarah Michelle Gellar and Ioan Gruffud. Gellar's rich girl character also has a closet to die for, so there's that.

The Secret Circle is coming on the CW on Thursday. It's witches, so of course I love it. I don't care that the pacing is a little off or some of the actors have the personality of paper dolls. There is magic, so I'm in.

Up All Night with Christina Applegate, Will Arnett and Maya Rudolph debuts Wednesday night. This is one of those shows where I like all the people involved, but the writers are going to have to up their game if they want to keep my interest. The pilot is okay, just nothing to write home about.

You may have noticed there are few shows I didn't mention that are debuting this week, you can take what you want from that.

Any new shows you might be interested in?

Oh, and if you want to up your writing game. I have a comprehensive writing class beginning soon that takes you from creating an idea, plotting, writing, revising and selling a book. It's six weeks and it's intense, but you'll come away with a thorough knowledge of how to write a book. You can find more info at: http://www.candacehavens.com/index.php/workshops/

  1. Secret Circle

I’ll be excited to see the debut of The Secret Circle, even though I still haven’t gotten around to reading the books.

  2. clothes

    Depending on size, chicos.

I actually prefer color accessories or jackets. Is grey out too?

I am not a platform fan. Sorry!
