Super Secret Mission: Day Two

Standard

Today I:
Used my finger as a toothbrush. (I was bound to forget something)
Discovered as much as I love North Carolina, it does not like my hair or my sinuses.
Did homework for Grad school.
Edited stories.
Talked to my friend Caroline in NYC, and tried to make plans to meet in Conn.
Called and told my oldest HAPPY BIRTHDAY
Went to secret business lunch with Lucky Sweets and three of her associates at Natty Greens. Learned super secret stuff, that I actually can never reveal.
Drank part of a bloody mary and a pale ale with lunch. (Something I’ve never done before.)The hummus and blue ridge chicken were fab.
Discovered downtown Greensboro is full of fun shops and tons ‘o art. Must come back for more exploration.
Went to a super secret location to see a business that is about to open up and it was very cool. Felt special to be in on all of this.
Discovered I’m old and probably shouldn’t drink at lunch. (Thanks for the sigraine pale ale)
Visited a local Walgreens for a toothbrush and headache drugs, and discovered other treasures. (I really need to stay out of drugstores)
Had an incredible steak dinner cooked by the host of our secret lair.
Decided tomorrow I would ply Lucky Sweets with caffeine so she’ll stop falling asleep at 10 p.m. (Sigh)

Tomorrow we are headed to Williamsburg VA. If you’re in the vicinity email or post below and we’ll meet for coffee. If you know a good massage therapist there I could use one.
