Hey Gang,
I’m celebrating the upcoming release of Dragons Prefer Blondes (July 7) with the Big Summer Blog Tour. I’m visiting a variety of blogs where I’m doing interviews, answering questions, talking about books and life, and even sharing recipes. You can find the list of dates and blogs on http://www.candacehavens.com/ under the contest tab. That’s where I explain all the ways you can win. It’s also where you’ll find the list for The Big Summer Blog Tour. And in addition to the prizes I’m doing, several of the blog hosts are giving away prizes too!

In addition to the blog tour I’ll be doing some book signings:

Saturday, July 11: Barnes & Noble (Hurst, Texas) from 2-4 p.m. (Very cool prizes and food)

Wednesday, July 15: Marriott Wardman Park (Washington, D.C.) 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. (I’ll be there with hundreds of other authors and all the proceeds benefit literacy)

We’re changing some things on http://www.candacehavens.com throughout the summer and adding some new items, so make sure you stay tuned!

  1. Candy,

I’ve been meaning to email you for a week! I heard Parker sing on KSCS last week and his voice gave me chills. I love deep voices to begin with, and when he started singing the Trace Adkins song, it was incredible. And I’m not really an opera buff, but he sounded just as incredible singing that. Anyway, I know you are well aware of his talents and how proud you are of him. You weren’t whistling Dixie…that is for sure!!

Thank you! It’s that thing where I tell people how good he is, and they’re like yeah, right. Then they hear him, and say, “OMG, you didn’t tell me he was that good.” :-)
