Lucky Girl/Burn

Thank you guys for the advice on the desk. I’m thinking it might be easier to get a new one. I’m going to search on the Internet tonight, while I’m watching the season finale of So You Think You Can Dance. I just watched last night’s show and I was in tears. So beautiful. A lot of you know this, but I was dance major at the High School of Performing and Visual Arts back in the day. I keep saying when I get my big mansion I’m building myself a dance studio. :-) I don’t care who wins tonight. I’m partial to Twitch, Joshua is from my home town, Katee is one of the most beautiful dancers, technically, that I’ve ever seen and Courtney is sheer light on stage. My favorite dancer, Will, went home a few weeks ago. He was really just finding his way when was let go. I’ll also be watching Burn Notice on USA. It is absolutely one of my most favorite shows. Here’s a pic of the cast:

So how about you guys. What are doing? What are you reading? I have a surprise for you tomorrow. I can hardly wait. :-) How’s that for a tease?

  1. I’m reading A Curse Dark as Gold by Elizabeth C. Bunce. It’s a retelling of Rumplestilstkin in the 19th century. A miller dies and leaves the mill to his 2 girl children. They are old enough to take care of the mill, but it seems to be hexed in some way. Before he died, dad took out a loan of 2,000 pounds. I can’t wait to read who is the Rumplestiltskin character and how things work out for the girls.

Other than reading, I’m doing errands and chores and getting ready for a party we’re throwing Saturday night. But what I’m really doing is LJ and procrastinating.

  2. I love Burn Notice, too

Right now I’m watching Family Guy… will be starting Dark and Dangerous by Jeanne Adams next.
    Surprise?? Sounds interesting :)

  3. We went to the girls school open house tonight. It looks like they are starting the school year off well :)

I finished reading Nightwalker by Jocelynn Drake and The Accidental Demon Slayer by Angie Fox. Nightwalker is a good Urban Fantasy, I liked the suspense that Jocelynn built in this debut book. Angie’s is a debut also, its a paranormal. I was cracking up one minute and cheering on the characters the next. The hero is a griffin and Greek hottie, yum.

I started looking through the Mammoth Book of Vampire Romance. I love these books with so many stories to choose from.

Only a couple hours until you tell us the good news :D

    Hugs, Danette
