Holy, cow, Batman! I just finished the first draft of Sanguine Dreams. My brain is broken. :-) There’s a lot to do in revisions, but no huge fixes, just some fleshing out of scenes and characters.

And guess what? I actually like the story a lot, and I’m in love with these characters. I never had sisters, and it’s been so much fun exploring those relationships. It’s 11:15, and everyone is in bed, well except for the youngest who was supposed to be home twenty minutes ago. ;-) I want to holler and yell, but I can’t.

So come do the crazy dance with me. Hop up and down on one foot. Now turn around and shake your booty, while yelling. “I rock. I rock. I rock.”

I wrote almost 100 pages this weekend. Nuts. My wrist and fingers feel numb, but I don’t care. I’m going to go and celebrate with a yogurt, and the first episode of Supernatural. (I know, sometimes my life is beyond sad and pathetic.) But I’ll celebrate with family tomorrow and friends later in the week.

Big sigh. Whoo hooooooooooo! Sorry. Can’t help myself.

Hugs all around, and drinks to go with that.

  1. Hi Candy,

Happy dancing with you. Congrats on having a story you love. That makes the revisions that much nicer, doesn’ it?

I think I’d better just do this virtually. Or I’m liable to break something else. *g*
