Time For…

Is it just me or is time whizzing by? What happened to the lazy days of summer? I finished my anthology story and turned it in. Whew! That was a relief. Now I’m getting ready to start in on the Caruthers Sisters. It’s scary and fun to begin a new series because the possibilities are wide open.

Last night I saw Bourne Ultimatum with my friend Britta. OMG, how hot is Matt Damon? And those movies have so much action I kept having to remind myself to breathe. I’m heading down to Austin with Rosemary and Shannon on Friday to see Jasper Forde. I’m a huge fan of the Thursday Next novels. It’s going to be a wild girls road trip. :-)

So I want to know how you slow down time? What’s your version of taking time to smell the roses?

  1. I can’t wati to see “The Bourne Ultimatum” Friday night. That is my “must see movie” of the summer. And I love Jasper Fforde! The Thursday Next series is one of my favorites. I especially liked “Something Rotten” with Hamlet out in the real world. He is definatly one of the more clever writers out there.
And I never have slow down time. I always feel like i’m being pulled in a million directions.

  2. Slow down time

    Hi Candy –
Well, I think what helps me slow down is to take a break and play games with my children. I’m able to sit and not actually be reading, writing or editing anything. I play Candyland (no pun), or whatever she wants. Somehow whenever I think I’m about to win, I go all the way back to the beginning, that surely slows time down for me. Oh and I can’t wait to see the next Borne movie, I hope it was great! I love him!!
