See it’s all in perspective

After everything you guys wrote on the scary illness post, I feel I have no complaints at all. I’m so glad everyone is okay.

What have you guys been doing? What’s happening this weekend? What are you listening too? What are you reading?

I had great plans to organize the upstairs today but I was only physically in the house for two hours today. It was good though. I met with writer buds who helped me with some tough things I’ve been trying to work through. Honestly, it was like a therapy session by the time it was all over. I was ready to go home and write I was so excited. :-)

I bought some new CDs: Plain White T’s (I love “Hey there Delilah), Amy Winehouse and Lily Allen. I love them all.

I finished the anthology Demon’s Delight, and I really enjoyed it. I’ve also been rereading Witchling before I read Changeling, by Yasmine Galenorn. So many books, so little time. I want to get all my chores done so I can read more tomorrow afternoon.

So tell me what’s going on with you!

  1. Oooh Amy Winehouse is the best. I can’t get enough of her!

Not much here. Went to go see James Marsters (Spike from Buffy) play in Long Island tonight. That’s about it! Very tired now :-)

  2. Well, today I went to see… Nancy Drew. It was really funny and actually pretty good. Emma Roberts looks so much like her aunt. I have a feeling it will become a franchise of movies, but if they are all as cute and funny as this one, it will be ok.

I finished “Touched by Darkness” by Catherine Spangler. It was a very different kind of book for me, but I liked it. Thank you, Candy!

Sunday, I must write, but I think I may have to go shopping. I need… no check that… want something new to wear to Nationals. I have to see if I can make myself try on clothes.
