I finished my copy edits! :-) I need to read thru one more time and then I’ll be done. Deep breath. The notes the editors made were good ones, nothing major at all. That’s always a relief. It means I told a decent story they didn’t think was horrible.

I had a meeting with my new publicists Michelle today. She’s going to be awesome. I can’t wait to see what she comes up with for the June release, Charmed & Deadly.

I’ve been telling everyone my brain has gone on vacation, but I’m still trying to work. It’s like walking through sludge right now. I think I’m going to give it rest and go watch a little TV. If I’m really adventurous I’ll take out the recycling. :-) Oh, wait, hold on. I forgot I have the new InStyle. :-) Even better.

Do you wear nail polish? What’s your favorite color? I’m wearing “Starter Wife” from Essie. I really like it. Light pink, almost clear.

And are you making any special meals this weekend? Maybe I’ll come to your house for dinner. I don’t feel like cooking. :-)

  1. I’m so excited about your release on the 5th. I’ll be at the B&N for your signing, too.

Nail polish? I hardly ever wear it because it requires, you know, maintenance. I tend to neglect the little things for me lately, but I do have a favorite or two that I wear. Most are OPI – mostly because their names are so creative. 1) A sheer pink – Lazy Daisy Pink, 2) a slightly darker, more glittery light pink with a hint of purple – Aphrodite’s Pink Nightie, and 3) my favorite for my toes is a glittery purple – from the Elvis collection… It’s Now or Never. They are fun!

Cook? Cook? Me? I plan to do as little as possible. However, today I did teach my son how to make homemade banana pudding. I mean the homemade pudding – not Jello brand pudding. He mixed, measured, cracked eggs, stirred on the stove, cut bananas, layered Nilla wafers. It was wonderful. Now he can’t tell me he doesn’t know how to do that kind of thing! Next I plan to teach him how to make chicken!

  2. Right now I have tuxedo toes (black and white alternate) but my favorite is rainbow toes.

Special meals — nope. Making revisions for my agent all weekend! Gonna see how hubby likes being “alone” with the kids all day. Something tells me he’ll be kissing my feet Monday night and saying what a wonderful woman I am to stay home with the children while he goes to work. At least, that’s my plan.

  3. nail polish? – currently I’m not doing polish or nails. I love the solar nails and when I did that, french is my fave, tho hubby (typical) loves the bright pornographic RED LOL. I find I type a lot faster with fewer typos with no nails. No time for that now LOL.

meals? – not this weekend. I’m cooking squat. I want a weekend off too. Hubby said something about bar-b-q, but man, it’s awfully wet outside, so not sure about that. I’m hoping for a grandkid-free weekend and well, you saw how that went at Alex’s booksigning LOL. But they are home now (Sat evening) and all is well with the world.

Hope you are feelin better :).. Hugs.

  4. My memorial day was spent on the beach with my family,we had a nice bbq
lunch and the kids got to swim in the ocean. I hope everyone else has a sweet and special day.*g*
    Hugs, Danette
