Everything…

Standard

It’s been a busy few days. The parties this weekend were a smashing success. Everyone was happy and had a great time. I’ve been busy working on stories about Supernatural and my Ugly Betty set visit. (I forget how adorable Jared and Jensen from Supernatural are. Both great guys.)

Today my agent is sending my zombie YA out into the cold hard world so please send good thoughts. I love that book so much.

I don’t know how you feel about the events from yesterday, but it made me want to hug all my special someones a little closer. I hope you’ll do the same.

The question for today is…

What celebrity life would you most want to have? Or which celebrity would you like to look like?

In my next life I’ll be tall and lithe like Nicole Kidman and have that beautiful skin. :-)

  1. ANY celebrity’s life. It would mean I’d have at least a bit of money, unlike now LOL And I would give anything to look like Kate Walsh from Grey’s Anatomy. I think she’s absolutely gorgeous.

  2. Why does LiveJournal take so long for me to connect lately? It’s been that way for about 7-10 days.

The Virginia Tech massacre is horrible. No reason for it. Just more senseless killings.

The basement in our new house is flooded. The heavy rains we’ve had left us with this unexpected surprise, and now the carpet has to be replaced–my boyfriend, Mike, is thinking of putting down tile or something that won’t absorb water. There’s about an inch of standing water in the laundry area. The finished basement looked so nice before, too.

I’d like to live the life of several celebrities. I’d like to be a celebrity myself, and live my own life, only beautiful. But one celebrity I wouldn’t mind being include Oded Fehr’s wife (she’s a producer, although I think she’s a stay-at-home mom, currently), even though she’s not a big-name celebrity. I wouldn’t mind sharing a home with that man! :D

There are several celebrities I would like to be (if I couldn’t be myself, minus the general negatives of my life), including Drew Barrymore–she’s pretty, but it’s more for her personality and “nice” reputation; Jessica Biel–gorgeous, strong body, talented; Grace Park–totally sexy; Hillary Swank–real talent; Jessica Alba–beautiful; Queen Latifah–she’s beautiful with great skin, funny, and talented. And while I don’t want to be her, I would love to be as rich and powerful as Oprah Winfrey! There are many female singers I’d list as wishing I could sing like them, too, but I have to make a late dinner for my boyfriend, so I’m not going to list them. :)

    • In my haste to post, I neglected to mention that Oded’s wife also has other qualities I admire, besides being married to him. She’s beautiful, apparently strong of heart and mind, and speaks her mind. I really like women who aren’t afraid to share their opinions and have a lot of self-respect.

  3. Hit too close to home. my UVa roommate, her baby sister is at Tech. She is ok. One of my friends less lucky. Her baby brother’s best friend died. Stephen and I have 2 friends on the Blacksburg police force and I do not think they will ever recover. If dealing with Norris Hall was not bad enough, he went back on duty dealing with the media last night at the Inn as they were attacking families who had many times just found out their loved one was dead. The job of the police became to try to protect the families. I think the Amish had it right when they kicked everyone out of their town so they could mourn. Sometimes a story is better cold.

  4. I’d love to have Clive Owen, his deep sexy accent just get to me.I don’t know which celeb I’d like look like but to have a soulful singing voice like Lauren Hill would be a plus.

    Hugs, Danette
