Hey, Hey, Hey

It’s Thursday! Whoo hoo! Seems like a long week to me. This weekend is my husband and our youngest son’s brithdays, so it’s going to be a crazy one. :-) I’m sort of at a loss for presents, but I’ll figure it out.

I had great news from my tax consultant yesterday. So much so that I went to CVS and celebrated by buying new eyeshadow, mascara and eyeliner. (I was really there for prescriptions but the makeup was calling out to me.) I don’t know about you guys but I sort of mix and match the match the makeup. I’ll buy department store brands and mix them with drugstore stuff. Most of the time I can’t tell a difference. Except for the face stuff. I’m a Bare Esenctuals (SP) girl all the way. Feels good and helps the breakouts stay away.

So I sent the YA to my agent and I’m waiting to hear back rom her. She emailed and wanted the synopsis, so that has to be a good sign. :-) I guess I should get in there and fix it but I’m thinking it’s time for a snack. :-)

I thinking about if something happened, what, besides my family and animals, would I want to protect most in my home. What is more precious to me than anything else? For me it’s photos and my computer. My husband would probably say the plasma. So what would it be for you?

And what would be the one beauty item you’d need on a deserted island? I’m going with lip balm, though a toothbrush is right there too.

  1. Photos & my computer, definitely. I’d like to say my books, but barring an underground bunker library that’s probably a little unrealistic. *g*

Beauty item? I’m with you. Lip balm.

  2. I would protect the photos, the computer, and my 5th place Ferret Wrangling Trophy.

So would The Rock be considered a beauty item? He’s pretty darn beautiful.

(I was just kidding about the trophy. I didn’t actually win. Those ferrets are scrappy little buggers!)

    Have a great week-end!

  3. Protect? It would be the computer, the pictures, and I’d really want the book collection, but it would be too busy fueling the fire.

On the island? I’d want sunscreen. I burn soooo bad!
