Yoga and Stuff

I had my first private yoga class today, and it was pretty awesome. I thought I’d get bored, but Kendra Saari, my instructor, tailored the class to fit me. It was the most fun I’ve had exercising in a really long time. And I actually felt less stressed today than I have in a long time. Go figure.

I have an interesting post at you might want to check it out, especially if you are an aspiring writer or about to be published.

I’m hard at work on revisions and I’m working on stories this week about Jeff Goldblum, Donnie Wahlberg and Jason Gedrick.

The Oscar chat had a great turnout and we had fun. I don’t have a head for trivia, things go in… and right back out… But some of those guys can tell you the best picture winner for the last 70 years. Amazing.

So the new Zen Candy has to get back to work.

Today’s question is… What kind of exercise do you like to do? (Keep it clean) ;-)

  1. In an ideal world, with unlimited time and resources, I love dancing (primarily ballet) and playing volleyball. These days, I get most of my exercise walking home from work- at least 2-3 miles a day. I can’t stand walking on a treadmill, but if I’m actually GOING some place, I find it relaxing.

  2. I need to exercise more, but I admit, I don’t like to exercise, really. I’m pretty sure I’d like it more if I were in shape–which means I need to exercise and eat healthier before I can enjoy it. But exercises I like most would include walking, some dance/jazzercise moves, and working with some weight machines (I used to belong to a gym). I might enjoy swimming…if I could swim. I hate the stair climber machine, and I don’t care for the stationary bike (mostly because of the number it does on my crotch and thigh areas).

Keeping it clean, there’s a workout tape I’d like to try called “Sweet Moves.” It’s a workout to strengthen muscles you use during lovemaking.
