Black Friday

I LOVE YOU GUYS! Thank you so much for the hugs and kind comments on that last entry. You guys totally rock! :-) And thank you to those who have posted reviews to push that mean one off the front page. But I’m over it. This morning, for the second day in a row, I woke up at five. But today was good because I went out to the Lone Star Santas radiothon and worked the morning shift with the guys. I love doing that because it really gets me in the holiday spirit. When you think that this will be the first time some of those kids get a Christmas present and some of them are over the age of 10, well…

FedEx just dropped buy a load of films. Happy Feet, The Departed, THe Fountain, The Illusionist, Babel and Superman Returns. I’m excited about giving most of those another run through. I’m reading my friend Shannon’s manuscript, and yes I love her, but darn she can write. I have so much to do this weekend, but I can’t put down her book. :-)

I’m hoping we can get the tree up this weekend. I love Christmas trees. I’m sure it has something to do with the lights and ornaments. You know me, I’m all about pretty, bright, shiny things. But it’s a little more than that. I don’t know why exactly, but Christmas trees just make me smile. Okay, I’m rambling. This happens when I need a nap.

Oh, yeah. Tomorrow I’ll be posting on the Witchy Chicks blog at come by and take a gander. I’ll be talking about my office and process for writing. All the witchy chicks are doing posts over the next few days. If you haven’t checked them out, you should. They are all so brilliant and interesting. Love them.

Did you guys eat too much turkey? My thing was this corn side dish my sister-in-law Dee Dee made. Out of all the wonderful dishes yesterday it was my favorite, but I ate way too much of it. :-)

Happy Holidays!
