Tea for 200

Standard

I’m zonkered, but what a way to go. Today was the Buns and Roses Tea and there were about 200 people there. Someone actually bought my table so she and her friends could sit with me. How cool is that? I did the Mistress of Ceremonies thing, and it was quite fun. I even got my Buns joke in, and it worked. I was worried about that. It was just an incredible day. Except I really, really wanted to win that stay at the lodge in Scotland. Okay, funny thing about that. There was a guy there, Don, dressed in a kilt. He was helping us promote the raffle, and he’s the one who won. The man in the kilt won the trip to Scotland. :-)

I just looked around my house and I have to say, I’m a bit disappointed. It’s totally trashed, which probably means the mean witch mom was gone all weekend. (I was.) And no one did anything. At all. Where are those magical house cleaning fairies when you need them? Sigh. Maybe they’ll show up tonight if I wish really, really hard. ;-) (Or I could go upstairs and threaten my husband with the couch if he doesn’t clean the kitchen. Ever since he read my first book and saw what Bron does to some of the bad warlocks, he’s been a little afraid of me.) ;-)

  1. Fear is healthy! I just wish they sold it like at Whole Foods Market or something. I don’t think my kids are near scared enough of me (and how’s that for bad grammar? LOL).
