Press Tour Day Nine

Standard

So you want a little Desperate Housewives scoopage? Had a chance to sit down with creator Marc Cherry tonight at the ABC party. It’s okay to share this here, because by morning it will be all over the country. But if you are up late and smart enough to read my blog, you’ll be the first to know.

So here goes… In season three they skip ahead six months. Bree (Marcia Cross) gets married by the second episode. The big mystery of the season involved Kyle’s Mc’s character, who is the one Bree marries. Carlos and Gabrielle are going through a bitter, bitter divorce and awaiting the arrival of their child. Terri Hatcher has a great new love interest in Dougray Scott. Dougray’s character’s wife is in a coma and they become coma buddies. Mike Delfino will be a coma. But he won’t be killed off. Bree also finds out what has happened to Andrew. Lynette deals with the ramifications of having a new member of the family. Edie has a sexy trouble making young nephew who comes to live with her. We’ll meet him shirtless as he polishes his motorcycle.

Also today I talked with Calista Flockhart, Sally Field, Rachel Griffiths, Anne Heche, James Tupper (New hot guy), Donal Logue and the lovely Charlie Gibson.

The ABC party was fun until darkness fell and you couldn’t see anything. I had the platforms on, but still couldn’t find anyone in the crowd. I had a great chat with James Pickens who stars on Greys Anatomy. We’re doing that set visit tomorrow. I waved hello to Ron Rifkin (ex-Alias) who stars in the new show Brothers and Sisters. Hit some producers of shows to find out what’s comming up next. I’m sure I’ll turn on the recorder and discover there were people I didn’t even know I talked to. It happens all the time. Oh, Scott Wolf was adorable as always. I think that’s it. Have to get back to work now. :-)
