Press Tour Day Four

Hi, My name is Candy and I just realized I wore my shirt backwards to the Sci-Fi Channel party. Now that I think of it, it’s not such a bad party to do that at. Any way… I sat down to write and realized the whole time I’d been chatting everyone up, my tag was in the front. Beyond the wardrobe malfunction, it’s been an interesting day. I’ve seen a Naked Trucker, testicles with their own cartoon, Trey and Matt, the creators of South Park, and so much more.

Had a little chat with Mr. T., who I actually found quite charming and sweet. Though he does seem a bit obsessed with his mother. Remember that show A Different World with Lisa Bonet, Sinbad and Jasmine Guy. Well, the whole cast was here and it made me feel old when I realized it had been almost 20 years since it was on the air. I punched a dummy (no not one of the other critics) a real dummy that measures all kinds of cool stuff including how hard you punch. I’m told I did pretty good for a girl. I won’t tell you who I was thinking about when I hit it. The lovely John Stamos was here, but I detected a bit of sourness around him. He just didn’t seem as easy going as he usually does. Gene Simmons moved some guy’s computer bag out of the hallway so that I wouldn’t trip on it. (He knows me well.) It was such a polite thing to do, then in his session he talked about all the women he could have. I guess it all evens out in the end.

After that was NBC Universal, with their new shows Psych, The Dresden Files, Who Wants to Be a Superhero (I met the great Stan Lee, you can touch me later.), Workout and Tabloid Wars. I especially liked The Dresden Files, as the show is based on Jim Butcher’s books, and I LOVE those books. As I mentioned before, tonights party was thrown by the Sci-Fi Channel in honor of Stargate’s anniversary or something. They had the big round gate and everything. I so wished my lovely friend Rosemary Clement Moore was here, as I was surrounded by Stargate and Battlestar Galactica people, and had no idea who was on what show. Except Christopher Judge who plays Teal’c, that’s a guy you never forget.

I’m going to try and make it an early night. Over the last four days I have a combined 17 hours of sleep, which is making me cranky. ;-) Night all…
