Hey Gang

Standard

Hey supportive friends. Shanna Swendson (Enchanted Inc, Once Upon a Stilletos) and I are signing books at the Borders Express in Collin Creek Mall from 4-6 p.m. on Saturday, July 17, in Plano. It should be a fun time for all, and since it’s a few days before my birthday, treats should be involved. ;-)(That is if Candy remembers them.) :-)

I just heard that C&D won an honorable mention in the Write Touch Readers’ Awards. Very nice. I knew people in Wisconsin were cool! (I’ve actually known that a long time. One of my great tv writer friends Barb Oates lives there.)

There was a bit of a reprieve with Benbella. They moved the deadline to July 1. (See Candy jumping up and down!) Whew! So, I’m working on the final edits of Charmed & Deadly like a crazy person. Writing my columns, and managing to fit in a load of summer movies. (Saw Lake House last night. More on that later.) When I’m finished with all of this I plan to read, read, read. I want to read some of my fellow RITA nominees, and at least three or four books in my TBR pile.

Which reminds me. I’m interviewing as many RITA noms as I can and I’m hoping to have one for every day of July. We’ll see how that goes. I’m all about promoting and helping each other out. Man, the RITAs are a contest where it really is cool just to be nominated and I pinch myself almost every day.

Better get back to my story about Simon Cowell and Regis. Happy Day!
