Day Three Press Tour

So, I’m posting this a little late for Day Three, but there’s a really good reason. I partied too late last night. ;-) More on that later. The day began with a great crowd. Shirley Jones, Marion Ross, Richard Chamberlain, Patrick Duffy, Doris Robertson, Shelley Long and others were on hand for the Hallmark channel. It was fun and very entertaining. We had A&E, ESPN, The History Channel, no names, except for Sugar Ray Leonard and John Force, that you’d probably know, but it was all interesting stuff.
Then I’ll skip ahead 6 hours or so to the GSN (Game Show Network) party. Steak and lobster (Man, I love Cindy Ronzoni the publicist for the network. She totally rocks.) One of my favorite TV Critics, Charlie, was part of a game show presentation for I Have a Secret. Turns out Charlie played tamborine for the song “Afternoon Delight.” (As a fun side note. I learned how to French kiss with Paul Kibby while listening to that song over and over and over inthe 7th grade.) ;-) Any way, my friend Jax Crane (Such a great name) came to hang out. We had a great dinner and then found ourselves at a table where a game of Texas Hold Em was in play. For about four hours we had the best time playing poker. Jax was a newbie but she caught on really fast. (Have I mentioned my love of poker lately?) Got to bed around 1 a.m. got up around 5:30 to do radio. I’m totally hopped up on Diet Coke and looking forward to the day ahead which includes Ted Koppel and The Sopranos…

  1. I agree

Candace and I had a SUPER time! We both came out as winners. She’s a great poker instructor, too! I won’t tell anyone your dirty little secrets… LOL

I did get to see Tonya Harding, Chuck Woolery, and got to sit at the poker table next to a former Miss America. It was a rather interesting experience.

It was really wonderful being able to hang out with this incredibly talented writer and super cool gal!

Now, go buy her book if you haven’t done so already. It’s fabulous. She’s fabulous!
