Day One Jan. Tour

Standard

My day began with Disney and Billy Ray Cyrus and ended with Hugh Hefner and the 2006 Playboy Calendar, um, in person. Like they nearly ran me down at the E! party. This is the craziness that is my life. In between there were interviews with Isaac Mizrahi, Chef George Duran, Dean Sams from Lone Star, Cheryl Hines, Ryan Seacrest and Janice Dickinson. In that list is someone I hope I never, ever have to interview or listen to again. Argh! And this seems to be the tour of booze. They have these room drops with goodies. Books, towels, games, junky stuff I’ll never use. But so far this trip, Robert Duvall has sent a bottle of whiskey and the WE channel sent Martinis. If we have many more days like today… Well, let’s just say I won’t have to worry about lugging those bottles home on the plane. ;-) I would tell you what’s up tomorrow, but I’m so sleepy I can’t remember. Nearly being trampled by Playboy Bunnies has caused severe tiredness and trauma. (I’ve never seen so much plastic surgery all at once. Millions worth, I’m sure.) Oh, Candy that was snarky. Shame, shame. ;-) Night all.

My friend Tim works in the microtool business and he can spot “work” a mile away. So he could tell you the exact amount and narrow down to technique and surgeon had he been on top of you, too:) As for the alcohol, all holiday I kept thinking of that Dixie Chicks’ cover of Robert Earl Keen’s “Christmas with the Family” given the differences in alcohol consumption between the hubby’s family and ours. Did I tell you we blew the keg this weekend? The keg we got in early December?

Have fun and stay sane! POM martini’s are tasty BTW.
