Wow!

Standard

What a day! Thank you to everyone who came out for our writing workshop, lunch and the book signing. We had such a wonderful time with all of you. Feel free to shoot me questions here or through email. It was all so rushed and we didn’t have a chance to talk to everyone. Andrew and the gang at Waldenbooks were just amazing. We sold a TON of books. I love that store!

Warning: Name dropper alert ahead. Did you see that Rachel Caine, as in The Weather Warden, stopped by for a visit on the blog? How cool is she? Her fourth Weather Warden book is out (I’m totally envious of that cover), but you’ll want to start with the first one “Ill Wind.”

My brain is so tired. I’m going to take it, and my body and plant both on the corner of the couch with “In Style” for the rest of tonight. (I know, look at the crazy party girl.) :-)

  1. DUDE! I’m a name to drop? :boggles:

We’ve been in BenBella together, haven’t we? I’m pretty sure … OMG, you wrote the Joss Whedon book, didn’t you? And were in the Buffy anthology? I’m also known as Roxanne Longstreet Conrad, frequent BenBella repeat offender. :) Speaking of, eek, I’ve got to finish my Trek essay.

I’m so glad you had such a great session today! I’m so sorry I could attend. Let me know when you have another event.

Also, I plan to hold a book party at Americas Best Coffee in Arlington one Saturday in December … invite a bunch of authors, set up tables, and just generally have a great old time. Sell some books, drink some coffees, have fun. :) Want me to let you know the final plans?

And yeah, the cover for Windfall pretty much kicks butt.

Hope “In Style” was fun … enjoy your well-earned rest!
