The day after

It’s the day after the big release of “Charmed & Dangerous.” Where the heck is my parade? :-) Just kidding. It was a great day and the party last night was the best. I’m a lucky girl to have such great friends. Today it was back to the grindstone. I’m working on stories about the new Genna Davis show “Commander In Chief,” Johnny Messner’s “Killer Instinct” and Stuart Townsend in “Night Stalker.” I liked all three shows, which often makes writing about them tougher. I have to be objective and you know me, so many opinions… Oh, make sure to check out and then go to discussion forums. Beginning Sept. 11, I’ll be discussing “Charmed & Dangerous” under the Book of The Week list.

  1. Candy — I had so much fun celebrating your book launch. I have to bring my day planner to the next DFWWW meeting, though, to keep up with your schedule. (Like a good little peep.)

I’m looking forward to “Night Stalker.” I love the old TV series of the same name. My original concept for Maggie’s character was a cross between Kolchek and Brenda Starr. Sort of Meddling Girl Detective meets Monster of the Week.

My admiration for the fine acting skills of Stuart Townsend have nothing to do with my anticipation, of course. ;)
