If they could see me now…

Standard

LOL. I’m at 886 on BN.com (Barnes & Noble). How cool is that? It’s 2:01 p.m. I may never get that low again so I’m going on the record. ;-) I know that means nothing to most people, but when you are 886 out of like two million books, well, it should mean something. I had this great epiphany today that I should use this forum for more than my daily rants. That perhaps I should impart what little knowledge I have about writing to the world. So here goes… Your daily tip: Stop talking about wanting to write a book and sit down and do it. Start with a brief synopsis of who, what, when, where and why, and then write it. Seems simple, but for so many people it isn’t. Do you know how many people whine to me that they don’t have time to write? I always want to say, “This 30-minutes you wasted whining about how you don’t have time, probably could have been put to better use.” I don’t say that because when it’s my turn to whine, I want people to listen. ;-) So sit that butt down and do it. Give yourself 30 minutes to see what you can do. Peace Out!
